Howard Lorber is eating his own cooking, as the saying goes. The Miami millionaire just paid $6.87 million for a unit at The Bristol, the luxe condo tower in West Palm Beach, according to a deed.
Lorber is chairman of the Miami-based Vector Group, the parent of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. The brokerage is the listing agent for units at The Bristol.
As of March, Lorber owned 7.4 million shares of Vector Group, the company said in a regulatory filing. a stake worth about $90 million.
The latest closing means The Bristol has sold 40 units for a total of $353.5 million, according to a Palm Beach Post analysis of deeds.
